Pastor’s classes for those interested in church membership are held on the Tuesday after the second Sunday of each month. FELLOWSHIP TIME: Following worship, we enjoy cookies, coffee and tea with members and friends in the Memorial Parlor (Except on Communion Sundays and Other Special Sundays). Please stay and join us. Check the sign up sheet in the hall if you’d like to host!

PRAYER REQUESTS: During the Offering, please place prayer requests in the white basket rather than in the offering plates.

SUNDAY SCHOOL will resume in September.

BIBLE STUDY will resume September 8^th.

CARIBBEAN SUNDAY will be August 1^st at 10:00 am. Rehearsals for the choir will be at 6:00 pm on Wednesday evenings.

STICKY LIPS BARBEQUE: Saturday, August 21^st, noon – 5:00 pm.

MUSIC SUNDAY will be August 29^th. Please start to turn in your requests for favorite hymns, songs or special selections.

THE SUMMER ARTS PROGRAM began July 6^th. We encourage you to send your children and/or their friends. The cost is $50/week.

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED for the Summer Arts Program – if you know how to knit and would like to help the campers, please see Gayle Conklin!

140^TH ANNIVERSARY COMMITTEE: A meeting of the committee to begin planning our 2011 anniversary will meet on Monday, July 26^th at 6:00 pm. People on the picture board committee will meet, also.

Partners Program: Genesee Baptist Church has become a member of Partners Program. As a member of this program, every time someone comes into a participating auto dealership and mentions that he or she is a member of Genesee Baptist Church and then purchases a new or used vehicle, the dealership will send us $100. Participating dealerships are Webster Chrysler-Jeep, Webster Ford and Greece Ridge Lincoln-Mercury-Nissan. This applies to all church members and their friends.
