Greensburg, PA: Emily F. (Kingston) Conklin, 93, of Rochester, passed to eternal peace at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2007, surrounded by her family, at the home of her daughter in Greensburg, PA. Emily was born, September 12, 1913 in Rochester and is survived by children, Gayle Conklin, William Conklin, and Elizabeth (Conklin) Quindlen; grandchildren, Debra (Quindlen) Terdle, Mark Quindlen, and Lori (Quindlen) Ruffner; grandchildren, Aaron, Ryan, and Ashley Terdle, Kaleigh, and Lainey Ruffner, and Taylor, Jennifer, and Matthew Quindlen; also nieces, Frances McSweeney and Marjorie Dunbar and nephews, Joseph McSweeney and Richard Kingston.
Viewing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Genesee Baptist Church, 149 Brooks Ave., Rochester, with a funeral service held at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Genesee Baptist Church, Emily F. Conklin Educational Fund, American Heart Association or a charity of choice. William Snyder Funeral Home, Irwin, PA, 724-863-1200, in charge of arrangements.
